We just got married and were living in my parents basement apartment. My husband had no experiences with ghosts. Boy, was he in for an eye opener!
Things were going smoothly and we were learning about each other. He learned that I believed in the paranormal and I learned how skeptical he was. My parents had bought this house not that long ago so we were all fairly new to it.
We had a budgie that knew how to open her cage, no matter what you did to the door. She was a real sweetheart though. One day, the radio turned itself on. I turned it off. When it turned back on, the bird started acting funny, like she was frightened. I unplugged the radio and consoled her. A little later, the color organs started flashing. (These are like speakers but they respond with light to sound) I wasn't sure how they worked so I left them alone. BJ (the bird) started acting so afraid that she started flying into the wall and I had to take her upstairs to my mom, where she settled down. When my husband got home, I told him what happened, and he thought maybe there was a short. But, when he checked it out, it wasn't even plugged in. He thought I was either telling him tall tales or I was off my rocker. Then it started with him right there. And kept happening. The radio turned on again and I showed him it was also unplugged. He was not likeing this, but all it said to me was that I need to find out why this was happening. In my experience with ghosts, something like this meant something needed attention. So I told my mom and we searched the apartment while hubby was at work. And there, at the back of the cupboard was a big long crack in the wall. If it had rained, we would have been flooded out and anything electrical touching the floor? Let's not go there. After that was found, everything stopped. And hubby got an education on ghosts. hehe Needless to say, we had it fixed right away.
Keep smiling-someone else will too
