ABOUT ME
I was born in Cardiff, South Wales but moved to Tenerife at the end of 2004. I am a writer, freelancer, singer-songwriter, poet, author, photographer, naturalist, conspiracy theorist, researcher and UFO experiencer.
I am commonly known as the Bard of Ely, a title I was given by Big Issue magazine when I was a columnist and living in the Ely council estate in Cardiff.
I was also a TV presenter for two series of a magazine called In Full View in the late 90s. I have worked as a compère too at festivals having been MC for the Avalon stage at Glastonbury in 2002 and 2003 and also at the Green Man Festival. I also have two tracks on the Green Man Festival album.
As a writer I have contributed to Prediction magazine (in collaboration with CJ Stone) and Permaculture magazine, had a column in Living Tenerife, the Tenerife Sun newspaper and Big Issue magazine and currently write for Tenerife News and several websites.
I am also a druid as a Quest Knight of the Loyal Arthurian Warband, as well as being a former Scientologist and Gurdjieff work member.
I am the author of Herbs of the Northern Shaman, originally published by Loompanics but now available on lulu.com in a new full colour edition with photos by Katrinia Rindsberg.
Besides having my own book, I am written about in some detail in CJ Stone's Fierce Dancing and Last of the Hippies (both published by Faber & Faber), in The Trials of Arthur (Element) by Christopher James Stone and Arthur Pendragon, in Real Cardiff (Seren) by Peter Finch and in The World's Most Mysterious People(Hounslow) by Lionel and Patricia Fanthorpe.
